Challenge

Peperami (UK) and BiFi (Germany and Benelux) are similar products but with different names and advertising histories. As lead agency for both brands, BSUR was challenged to grow both with one appealing approach across Europe.

Insight

European users of meat snacks, mainly ‘on-the-go’, are similar wherever they live. Youngsters, who like to have something hearty when hunger attacks.

Concepting mentality

That animal inside you needs to be fed!

Execution

We made the existing ‘Animal’ character (already popular in the UK) the star of all European communications. He is famous for his animalistic behaviour in the most unexpected ways.

Results

Animal character now established for the first time in European markets, and going from strength to strength in the UK.
